Susan is one of the area’s plein air painters, and can often be found on the side of the road or on a hiking trail interpreting the scenery.
Her summertime occupation is painting in festivals in different areas of New York State.
Susan is a juried member of the Pastel Society of America, and is on the board of Saranac Lake ArtWorks. She works in oils, pastels, and watercolor. All of her framing and painting materials are rated to be archival.
Her work has been featured in galleries across New York State and other areas in the Northeast including featured solo shows. She has taught classes at The Wild Center and View in Old Forge.
“Our Little Town,” her pastel of Saranac Lake, won 1st place at the Adirondack Artists Guild’s 2019 Annual Juried Show.
